Catherine Shuman 
Catherine was born in 1749 in Germany,or Philadelphia,PA. Catherine's father was John Shuman and her mother was Elizabeth Smith. Her paternal grandparents were ----------------Shuman and Unknown. She had six brothers and five sisters, named Jonathan, Benjamin, David, Jacob, Joseph, Joshua, Elizabeth, Hannah, Mary, Rachel and Sophia. She died at the age of 72 on April 21st, 1821 in Monogalia County,West Virginia.General Notes
Catharine's brother was John Shuman of Ministers Run, Marion Co. West Virgini
Her parents came from Germany.
‌Catherine and John were married in a religious ceremony on June 5th, 1769 in Philadelphia,Pennsylvania. They had six sons and a daughter, named James, Robert, David, Ezekiel, John, Joshua and Elizabeth.

John was born on April 9th, 1780 in Fort Amos. He died at the age of 85 on February 2nd, 1866.

Elizabeth was born on September 18th, 1785 in near Fort Redstone,now Brownsville,PA.
Joshua Cunningham
Joshua was born on June 21st, 1792 in Fort Amos,Monongallia Co.Virginia or Fort Redstone,Pennsylvania. He died at the age of 95 on June 29th, 1887 in Swear,Kossuth County,Iowa. He was buried in Seneca Cemetery.
