Her paternal grandparents were George Shepherd and Elizabeth Mary Angelique Day. She had five brothers and five sisters, named John, James, Stephen, Lewis, Andrew, Ann (Susannah), Susannah, Lucy, Nancy and Sarah. She had two half-brothers named Nicholas and David. She died in Missouri.-
