Mary was born in 1545 in ,Cranbrook,Kent,England. Mary's father was Richard SHEFF and her mother was Elizabeth ANDREWS. She had two brothers and five sisters, named Thomas, William, Joan, Katherine Or Scheafe Or Sheff, Margeret, Alice and Anne. She was the second youngest of the eight children.
