Joan was born about 1532 in Cranbrook,Kent,England.  Joan's father was Richard SHEFF and her mother was Elizabeth ANDREWS. She had two brothers and five sisters, named Thomas, William, Katherine Or Scheafe Or Sheff, Margeret, Alice, Mary and Anne.  She was the oldest of the eight children.  She died in ,,Prob England.
