Henry was born on September 20th, 1841 in Franklin County,KY-Kenny's Mill Precient. Henry's father was Nicholas Rodgers and his mother was Nancy Rodgers. His paternal grandparents were George W. Rodgers and Elizabeth Pierson. He had five brothers and four sisters, named Jeptha, Jeffrey, William M., John, Daniel B., Elizabeth Jane, Mahala Ann, Sarah Francis and Nancy. He was the third youngest of the ten children. He died at the age of 71 on March 30th, 1913 in Frankfort,Franklin Co.,KY.-
