John Prewit 
John was born in 1786 in VA. John's father was *David II Prewit and his mother was *Jane Parrott. His paternal grandfather was *David I Prewitt. He had five brothers and two sisters, named James, David (3rd), *Elijah, Samuel, William (Sr.), Elizabeth and Martha Ann. He was the second youngest of the eight children. He died after 1860.-
