Laura Alice Powers

Laura Alice was born on July 5th, 1862. Laura Alice's father was George Powers and her mother was Sarah Ann Scales. Her paternal grandparents were Samuel Powers and Levina LeMasters; her maternal grandfather was John Scales. She had five brothers and a sister, named Andrew Jackson, Thomas Jefferson, Louis Martin, Melvin Adophus (Dolph), Ernest Adrain and Malena Caroline. She was the third youngest of the seven children. She died at the age of 14 on May 24th, 1877. She was buried in Log Creek Cem. Pike Co. Indiana.
