Thaddeus P. was born in 1821. Thaddeus P.'s father was Shadrach , Jr. Pierson and his mother was Jane Eastin. His paternal grandparents were Shadrach Pierson and Rachel Clinch. He had six brothers and three sisters, named James, George William, John Moneta, Bartholomew, Jesse, Barton, ?, Drusilla and Margaret. He was the oldest of the ten children.-
