Lanthy Jane was born on August 29th, 1829 in Slate Ford,Jackson Co.,Indiana. Lanthy Jane's father was James Weathers Pierson and her mother was Lucretia Morgan. Her paternal grandparents were Shadrach Pierson and Rachel Clinch. She had three brothers and three sisters, named David Morgan, James Madison, Henry Clay, Rebecca Jane, Sarah Lucretia and Cynthia Ann. She was the second oldest of the seven children. She had three half-brothers and three half-sisters, named William F., Barton Stone, Samuel S., Lanthy S., Rachel and Sarah Sally. She died at the age of 25 on July 16th, 1855 in Jennings Co.,Indiana.-
