Barton Stone Pierson 
Barton Stone was born on March 17th, 1818. Barton Stone's father was James Weathers Pierson and his mother was Lanthy Shockley. His paternal grandparents were Shadrach Pierson and Rachel Clinch. He had two brothers and three sisters, named William F., Samuel S., Lanthy S., Rachel and Sarah Sally. He was the third youngest of the six children. He had three half-brothers and four half-sisters, named David Morgan, James Madison, Henry Clay, Lanthy Jane, Rebecca Jane, Sarah Lucretia and Cynthia Ann. He died at the age of 92 on August 7th, 1910 in Washington Co.,Arkansas.-
