Bartholomew Pierson 
Bartholomew was born on November 17th, 1787 in Culpepper,Va. Bartholomew's father was Shadrach Pierson and his mother was Rachel Clinch. His paternal grandparents were Charles Pierson and Sally Weathers; his maternal grandparents were Jacob Clinch and Jean Clinch. He had five brothers and four sisters, named James Weathers, William C., Shadrach , Jr., George Washington, Henry Clinch, Frances, Nancy, Sally and Casendoneia. He was the third oldest of the ten children. He died at the age of 74 on September 8th, 1862 in Ray,Morgan County,Indiana.-
