William Morgan Esquire 
William was born about 1501 in of Llantarnam Ab,Llanfihangel Lla,Monmouthshire,England and his baptism took place in {Cydifor Fawr}. William's father was John Morgan Esquire and his mother was Elsbeth II ferch Lewys. His paternal grandparents were Thomas ap Morgan Sir Knight and Jane Herbert. He had a brother and a sister, named John and Jane. He was the second oldest of the three children. He had four half-brothers and a half-sister, named Philip, James, Roger, Lewis and Miss.
