Nancy was born in 1826 in Reddies River,Wilkes County NC. Nancy's father was John McQueary and her mother was Lucinda Virginia Kilby. Her paternal grandparents were John McQueary and Nancy Shepherd; her maternal grandparents were Abraham Kilby and Mary Elizabeth (Betsey) Rash. She had two brothers and a sister, named John, son and Lucinda. She died at the age of 65 on February 20th, 1891 in Terre Haute,Vigo County,Indiana. She was buried in Woodlawn Cemetery,Vigo County,Terre Haute,Indiana.-
