Alva Kilby 
Alva was born on September 7th, 1854. Alva's father was Abraham Kilby and her mother was Naomi Serena Dancy. Her paternal grandparents were Abraham Kilby and Mary Elizabeth (Betsey) Rash; her maternal grandparents were John Dancy and Rachel Johnson. She had a brother and six sisters, named John Sidney, Elizabeth, Ellen, Permelia, Ann, Tennessee and America. She was the second youngest of the eight children. She died at the age of 33 on May 7th, 1888.-
