James Johnston 
James was born about 1481 in Scotland.1 James' father was William Johnston and his mother was Margaret Meldrum. His paternal grandparents were Alexander Johnston Baron and Agness of Gloster; his maternal grandparents were Alexander Meldrum of Fyvie and Margaret Forbes. He was an only child. He died in 1548 in Scotland.1 -
