Giselbert I, Count of Luxembourg

Giselbert I, Count of Luxembourg was born about 1005.¹   Giselbert I, Count of Luxembourg's father was Friedrich I, Count of Luxembourg and his mother was Ermentrude of Gleiberg.  His paternal grandparents were Siegfried, Count of Luxembourgh and Hedwig von Nordgau. He had a brother and four sisters, named Frederick II, Duke of Lower Lorraine, Ermentrude of Luxembourg, Otgiva de Luxembourg, Jutta of Luxembourg and Gisele.  He was the third youngest of the six children.  He died on August 14th, 1059.¹
