Margaret A was born about 1856. Margaret A's father was Alonzo Dewees and her mother was Sarah Ann Carlin. Her paternal grandparents were Samuel Dewees and Mary (Polly) Dugan; her maternal grandparents were poss Philip Carlin and Sarah Wilson. She had six brothers and three sisters, named Leroy A., John William, Perry C, George W., Wilson, Homer E., Mary Jane, Charlotte and Lucinda. She was the third youngest of the ten children.-
