Margaret Dewees 
Margaret was born in 1817 in Licking County,Ohio. Margaret's father was Samuel Dewees and her mother was Mary (Polly) Dugan. Her paternal grandparents were Thomas Dewees and Catherine Spencer; her maternal grandparents were Thomas Dugan and Rebecca Fowler. She had four brothers and a sister, named Alonzo, William, James Lewis, Samuel and Lucinda Orilla. She was the second oldest of the six children.General Notes
