Alonzo Dewees 
Alonzo was born on November 6th, 1816 in Ohio. Alonzo's father was Samuel Dewees and his mother was Mary (Polly) Dugan. His paternal grandparents were Thomas Dewees and Catherine Spencer; his maternal grandparents were Thomas Dugan and Rebecca Fowler. He had three brothers and two sisters, named William, James Lewis, Samuel, Margaret and Lucinda Orilla. He was the oldest of the six children. He died at the age of 84 on December 13th, 1900. He was buried in Licking County,Ohio.General Notes
Occupation-----Miller. Could he have been associated with William Carlin, miller, who was husband of his sister, Lucinda Orilla Dewees? He married, I am assuming, the sister of William Carlin. Note---Alonzo and Sarah were married on the 24-10-1838 and Lucinda and William were married the next day, same place by same person and both were reported in the same article in the paper.
