Elizabeth Dewees 
Elizabeth was born on January 12th, 1797 in Monongahilia County,West Virginia. Elizabeth's father was Thomas Dewees and her mother was Catherine Spencer. Her paternal grandparents were Joshua Dewees and Elizabeth Bowman. She had two brothers and three sisters, and also a sibling of unknown gender, named Samuel, William, Catherine, Sarah, Hester Letitia and ?. She was the fourth oldest of the seven children. She died at the age of 75 on February 14th, 1872 in Story County,Iowa.-
