Geoffrey I Grisegonelle was born in 0940 in Chateau Landon.1 Geoffrey I Grisegonelle's father was Foulques II Comte De Anjou and his mother was Gerberge Du Maine. His paternal grandparents were Foulques I Comte De Anjou and Rosoille De Loches; his maternal grandparents were Rotbold II Comte De Arles and Gerberga.
