Foulques III Nerra was born in Anjou.1   Foulques III Nerra's father was Geoffrey I Grisegonelle Comte De Anjou and his mother was Adelaide De Vermandois.  His paternal grandparents were Foulques II Comte De Anjou and Gerberge Du Maine; his maternal grandparents were Robert De Vermandois Comte De Troyes etal and Adelaide De Bourgogne Comtesse De Troyes. He had two sisters named Ermangarde and Gerberge. He had three half-brothers and three half-sisters, named Maurice, Geoffrey, Fulco lll The Black Count of, Ermangarde, Gerberga and Maud.  He died in 1040 in Anjou.  He was buried in Abbey Beaulieu-les-Loches,Tours.1 1
