Washington Kemp Brown 
Washington Kemp was born in 1842. Washington Kemp's father was Thomas Brown and his mother was Thirza Jones. His paternal grandparents were Henry Terry Brown and Mildred Flynt; his maternal grandparents were Claibourne Jones and Elizabeth. He had four brothers and two sisters, named Thomas, John, James, William, Mildred and Alice. He was the oldest of the seven children. He died at the age of 73 in 1915.-
