Hywel Ap Maredudd

Hywel was born about 1111 in Montgomeryshire,Wales.¹ Hywel's father was Maredudd Ap Bleddyn and his mother was Hunydd Verch Einudd. His paternal grandparents were Bleddyn Ap Cynfyn and Haer Verch Cillin; his maternal grandparents were Einudd Ap Morien and Efa Verch Llywelyn. He had two brothers and a sister, named Cadwgon, Gruffudd and Dyddgu. He was the youngest of the four children.
