Sarah J. was born on January 11th, 1831. Sarah J.'s father was Hamilton Thornton and her mother was Mary Anderson. Her paternal grandparents were Robert Glover Thornton and Mary Foxhall; her maternal grandfather was John M. Anderson. She was an only child. She died at the age of 27 on January 11th, 1858.-
