Robert Glover Thornton 
Robert Glover was born on March 6th, 1761 in St. Croix. Robert Glover's father was John Thornton and his mother was Mary (Hamilton) Hambleton. He had a brother named William. He was the younger of the two children.General Notes
There is an article about Robert Glover Thornton in "The Hi
story of Fayette Co, TN," 1986 p 220. Robert married Mary F
oxhall. It does list their children, including Hamilton.
Hamilton is listed in the 1850 Marshall Co, MS census, Nort
hern District.
‌Robert Glover and Mary were married in a religious ceremony on January 12th, 1783. They had a son named Hamilton.
