Christopher Columbus was born on April 25th, 1826 in Chatham County, North Carolina. Christopher Columbus' father was John Teague and his mother was Ann Hornaday. His paternal grandparents were Edward Teague and Margaret Peggy McDaniel; his maternal grandparents were Christopher Hornaday and Ann "Nancy" Copeland. He was an only child. He died at the age of 73 on March 17th, 1900 in Chatham Co NC. He was buried in Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Alamance Cty, NC.General Notes
