Marie was born on September 12th, 1620 in St-Vincent, Rouen, Normandie, France. Marie's father was Francois Lamarguerite and her mother was Martha Romain. Her paternal grandparents were Thomas Marguerie and Marie Houllevicque; her maternal grandparents were Nicolas Romain and Marie Lefebvre. She was an only child. She died at the age of 80 in 1700 in Trois Rivières, St-Maurice, Quebec, Nouvelle France.-
