Reuben was born in 1757 in Buncomb, Doplin, NC. Reuben's father was Bray Hargrove and his mother was Elizabeth Unknown. His paternal grandparents were Lemuel Hargrove and Lydia Howell. He was an only child. He died at the age of 53 in 1810 in Montgomery, GA.-
