Mae Krider was born on February 16th, 1912. Mae Krider's father was Robert Henry Hargrove and her mother was Dora Mae Krider. Her paternal grandparents were Gray Lemon Hargrove and Martha Ann Foxhall; her maternal grandparents were William Robert Krider and Georgia Ann Hudson. She had three half-brothers named Lena Bruce, Robert Henry and Manse Leroy.-
