William Edwards

William was born in January 1864 in Nash Co., NC.  William's father was Joseph Henry Edwards and his mother was Martha Jane Rountree.  His paternal grandparents were Joseph Edwards and Susan UNKNOWN. He had a brother and a sister, named Joseph Henry and Cora.  He was the second oldest of the three children.

‌William and Sallie Capitola were married in a religious ceremony on July 27th, 1887.  They had a son and a daughter, named Opie Gray and Helen Marie.
