William III was born about 1193 in Derby, Derbys, Eng.. William III's father was William II De Ferrers and his mother was Agnes De Meschines. His paternal grandfather was William I De Ferrers; his maternal grandparents were Hugh Of Kevelioc De Meschines and Bertrade D'Evreux De Montfort. He was an only child. He died on March 24th, 1254 in St. Neots, Co. Huntingdon. He was buried on March 31st, 1254 in Abbey of Merevale, Warwickshire, England.General Notes
