James Warner Bailey 
James Warner was born on March 26th, 1863. James Warner's father was Warner Gorden Bailey and his mother was Mary Ann Gurganus. His paternal grandparents were Warner Gorden Bailey and Nancy Harrison; his maternal grandparents were Simon Gurganus and Luzian Taylor. He had three brothers and a sister, named John Lawrence, Simon McCoy "Coy", Robert "Bob" Alonza and Mary Emily. He was the second oldest of the five children. He died at the age of 54 on July 11th, 1917.-

James Warner and Penelope Louvenia Laura Elizabeth were married in a religious ceremony on October 15th, 1884. They had six sons and two daughters, named John Frank, Charlie Clinton, Warner Gordon, Dennis Leroy, William Staton, James Eason, Modie Bell and Elizabeth (Lizzie).
