Maud was born about 1163 in Chester, Cheshire, England.  Maud's father was Hugh Keveliok de Meschines Earl of Chester and her mother was Bertred of Evereaux.  Her paternal grandparents were Randulph de Meschines and Maud de Gloucester; her maternal grandparents were Earl of Evereaux Simon and Maud. She had a brother and two sisters, named Ranulph, Hawise and Agnes.  She was the oldest of the four children.


Maud's first family with David Huntingdon Earl of Huntingdon

‌Maud and David were married in a religious ceremony on August 26th, 1190 in Scotland.  They had a son and five daughters, named John le Scot, Margaret of, Isabella le Scot of, Ada of, Majory of and ?.


Maud's second family with William D'Aubigny

‌Maud and William were married in a religious ceremony in Chester, Cheshire, England.  They had two sons and five daughters, named William, Hugh, Isabella, Maud, Cecily, Nichola and Colette.
