Isabel was born in 1234.  Isabel's father was James I of Aragon King. She had two brothers and four sisters, named Alphonso of, Alphonso of, Isabel, Isabel, Yolande of and Constance of.  She died at the age of 37 in 1271.

‌Isabel and Philip III were married in a religious ceremony in 1262.  They had two sons named Philip IV of and Charles.
