Philip III was born in 1245 in France. Philip III's father was King Louis IX Capet and his mother was Queen Margaret deProvence. His paternal grandparents were King Louis VIII de France and Queen Blanche deCastile. He had six brothers and four sisters, named John Tristan of, John Tristan of, Peter I of, Peter I of, Robert of, Robert of, Blanche of, Agnes of, Agnes of and Agnes of. He died at the age of 40 in 1285.-
