Walter II of Amiens, known as The White, was born about 0944 in Vexin, Normandy, France. The White's father was Walter I of Valois and his mother was Adele of Anjou. His paternal grandparents were Ct. Raoul of Ostrevant & Amiens and Eldegardeof Valois; his maternal grandparents were Foulques I of Anjou and Roscille of Loches. He was an only child. He died about 1027.
