Hugo was born about 0794 in Auchen, Rheinland, Preussen. Hugo's father was Emperor Charlemagne Hre and his mother was Regine. His paternal grandparents were King Pepin III of Franks (Le bref -The short) and Bertrade(Bertha) of Laon (Bertha Broadfoot). He had four half-brothers and five half-sisters, named Charles of Aachen, Pepin of Italy, The debonaire, Charles of Aachen, Bertha, Duodene of France, Alpais (Adaltrude), Duodene of France and Alpais (Adaltrude).
