Ansgise of Austrasia was born in 0602 in Austrasia. Ansgise of Austrasia's father was Duke Arnulf of Metz and his mother was Doda (Clothilde)of Sachsen. His paternal grandparents were Gov Bodegeisel II of Cologne and Oda of Savoy; his maternal grandparents were Bishop Arnold of Metz and Oda. He had two brothers named Walchiges of Verdun and Walchiges of Verdun. He died at the age of 83 in 0685 in murdered.General Notes
