Her paternal grandparents were John (the Marshall) Fitz Gilbert and Sibilla (Sibyl) de Salisbury; her maternal grandparents were Earl Richard "Strongbow" deClare and Aoife (Eve) MacMurchadda of Leinster. She had a sister named Maud Matilda. She was the older of the two children. She had a half-sister named Eva. She died before 1246 in England.General Notes
