John de Mortimer

John was born in 1235.  John's father was *Ralph de Mortimer and his mother was Princess *Gwladys verch Llewellyn.  His paternal grandparents were *Roger de Mortimer and *Isabel de Ferrers; his maternal grandparents were *Lleyellyn ap Iorwerth and *Tangwystl verch Llywarch. He had three brothers named *Roger, Hugh and Peter.  He was the second youngest of the four children.
