John de Mortimer 
John was born in 1300. John's father was Sir *Edmund de Mortimer and his mother was *Margaret de Fiennes. His paternal grandparents were *Roger de Mortimer and *Maude de Braose; his maternal grandparents were *William de Fiennes and *Blanche de Brienne. He had four brothers and six sisters, named Roger, Hugh, Walter, Edmund, Isolde, *Maude, Matilda, Joan, Margaret and Elizabeth. He was the second youngest of the eleven children.-
