*Aubrey was born about 1062 in Hedingham, Essex ENG. *Aubrey's father was Count * Alberic De Vere and his mother was Countess * Beatrix de Gand. His paternal grandparents were Count Of Ghesnes * Alphonso de Vere and * Katherine Of Flanders; his maternal grandparents were Castellan * Henry de Gand and * Sibilla Manasses. He had four brothers and a sister, named Geoffrey, Roger, Robert, William and Alice. He was the second oldest of the six children. He died on May 15th, 1141 in London ENG. He was buried in Colne Priory.-
