Einar, known as Torf Peat, Turf, was born in 0852 in Maer,Mor Og Romsdal,Norway.1 Torf Peat, Turf's father was Rognvald "The Wise" (The Wise) Eysteinsson and his mother was Ragnhild Hilda Hrolfsdatter Countess of Moer. His paternal grandparents were Eystein Glumra the Noisy Jarl of the Upplands Ivarsson and Aseda Rognvaldsdatter , Countess of Oppland; his maternal grandfather was Hrolf Nefja of Norway. He had eight brothers and two sisters, named Rollo, Hallad, Rollo Viking King of Norway Duke of, The Silent, Ivar, Thorer "The Silent", Hrollinger, Malahut, Thordis and Torf of. He had a half-brother named Hrollaug. He died at the age of 58 in 0910 in Orkney Islands,Scotland.1 General Notes
