Hugh VIII "Le Brun" Sire De was born in 1106 in Lusignan,Vienne,France.  Hugh VIII "Le Brun" Sire De's father was Hugh "The Devil" De Lusignan (Sire) and his mother was Sarazine Of Armenia.  His paternal grandparents were Hugh VI "The Fair" Sire De Lusignan (Sire) and Hildegarde De Thouars. He had four brothers and three sisters, named William De, Rorquez De, Simon De, Valeran De, Ponce De, Aenor De and Aimee De.  He was the second oldest of the eight children.  He died at the age of 66 in 1172.
