Otho Holland 
Otho was born about 1318 in of Brackley,Northamptonshire,England. Otho's father was Robert d'Holland 1st Baron Holand and his mother was Maud la Zouche. His paternal grandparents were Robert d'Holland and Elizabeth de Samlesbury; his maternal grandparents were Sir Alan la Zouche 1st Baron la Zouche and Eleanor de Segrave. He had four brothers and six sisters, named Robert , 2nd Lord Holand, Kt., Thomas I, Alan, John, Mary, Maud, Matilda, Elizabeth, Jane and Margaret. He died on September 3rd, 1359 in Brittany,,France.1 General Notes
Otho de Holand, a person of great valour in the reign of Edward III, and one of the original knights of the Garter. He fell into disgrace, however, by suffering the Earl of Ewe (a prisoner at war), who had been committed to his custody, to go at large armed, and was committed to the Marshalsea after being examined in the presence of the lord chancellor and other noblemen. He d. soon after in Britanny (33rd Edward III) [1360] where he was engaged in his military capacity, and having no issue, his elder brother, Sir Robert Holand, by his last will, became his heir.
