Harald I "Fairhair" , King of Norway was born about 0850 in Buskerud,Norway.1   Harald I "Fairhair" , King of Norway's father was Halfdan "The Balck" , King of Vestfold Gudrodsson and his mother was Ragnhild Sigurdsdatter.  His paternal grandparents were Gudrod Halfdansson King of Norway and Asa Haraldsdottir; his maternal grandparents were Sigurd Hart Helgasson and Thyri (Thyra) Klacksdottir.  He was an only child.  He died in 0933 in Hauko,Rogaland,Norway.2
