His paternal grandparents were John Drummond 11th Lord of Lennox and Mary Margaret MONTIFEX; his maternal grandfather was Henry Sinclair. He had two brothers and three sisters, named Robert, John, Elisabeth, Miss and Margaret. He was the oldest of the six children. He died in 1445.-
