David de Comyn 
David was born about 1156 in Buchan, Aberdeenshire, Scotland.1 David's father was RICHARD de COMYN and his mother was HEXTILDA de TYNEDALE. His paternal grandparents were WILLIAM de COMYN and MAUD BASSET; his maternal grandparents were HUCTRED de TYNEDALE and BETHOE DAME de SCOTLAND. He had four brothers and a sister, named John, Odo (Odinell), Simon, WILLIAM and Idonea. He was the second youngest of the six children. He had a half-brother named HENRY EARL. He died on August 7th, 1249.1 -
