RICHARD's father was WILLIAM de COMYN and his mother was MARGARET COUNTESS de BUCHAN. His paternal grandparents were RICHARD de COMYN and HEXTILDA de TYNEDALE; his maternal grandparents were FERGUS EARL de BUCHAN and UNKNOWN MISS. He had three brothers and three sisters, named William, ALEXANDER, Fergus, Idonea, ELIZABETH and Agnes. He had a half-brother named WALTER. He died in 1249.1 -
